Step 1: Precision and straight to point
A CV/ Resume should be "Precise", precise in sense that it should not have anything too cranky, anything too bulky, it should be straight to point and simple. it has been said by most recruiters that they only view resumes for a fraction of 3minutes and within this 3 minutes it is the CV's job to impress them enough to get you a chance to land an interview. If the said CV is all camped with information not relevant to what they are looking for, there is high chance they might reject it.

You should be able to tailor your CV the requirements of the job interview you will be attending. For this you can use Matching keywords, highlight relevant skills and experience, shape your CV in a way that is most apt for the said firm or the job position your are applying for.
All in all applying for a job as student can be a little hard, but with a little bit of an eye and tweaking it will be very easy for you to attune your CV to the needs of you dream job.
